Meet Crina and Learn About Our Studio

We are an entrepreneurial Interior Design hub based in Westport, Connecticut with our primary creative focus on residential interiors and custom furniture. The personal attention, detail, and care given to every project have established Crina Popescu, the thought-leader behind our Studio, as a creative design force with a discerning eye and a distinct sense of place and purpose.

With her architectural background and international professional expertise, Crina brings a unique design vision and methodical approach to each project. Her aesthetics are minimalist, yet purposeful and sophisticated, tailored intuitively to meet her client’s desires and expectations.

Coming from a family of architects, Crina was motivated to travel, to explore, to learn foreign languages, to embrace other cultures, and to never settle for less. She was taught from an early age to look at the world through the lens of architecture and design, style and context.

Crina is formally trained as an architect and holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Urban Design from her native country, Romania, where she started her professional career in 1998. She studied in Romania, France, England and the United States and she is fluent in four languages. She pursued an international architectural career prior to opening her own Studio in Westport CT.

To achieve our goals, we work closely with our clients, consultants, and all design team members to ensure coordination and consistency across all trades. Our vision is accomplished through a synthesis of design concept, aesthetics, and functional integration.

We manage a highly curated in-house inventory of art and accessories to complete and enrich our aesthetic vision for each project.

Our Studio teams-up with architects, contractors, artisans, fabricators and other designers, to deliver the perfect project and the most suitable services to our clients.

  • We customize our scope of services for each project to meet client’s wants and needs, time and budget
  • Interior Design Services are completed with Project Management services throughout the lifetime of the project, from initiation to final installation
  • We select all interior finishes and specialty items, paint colors, create interior palettes.
  • We partner with builders and other trades professionals as needed, to deliver the project on time and within budget.
  • We oversee the construction process to ensure that all design elements are accurately built and implemented
  • We design and develop all custom-made furniture pieces; these are fabricated in our workrooms, according to our specifications, and under our direct supervision.
  • We source, deliver and install all our furnishings
  • We manage a comprehensive and highly curated in house inventory of art, decorative objects, and unique vintage items that we use for our projects
  • We are developing our in-house custom furniture collection and constantly adding new prototypes.
